Shoddy - Our Biennale Festival (FULLY BOOKED)

Children will work with Jane to produce a variety of textile pieces inspired by the shoddy trade in the area.

This will take place in school if possible or through a live video link if not. Material packs will be sent to school, along with information and activities about the shoddy industry.

Using recycled and reclaimed materials these pieces will be exhibited either in local shops, digitally and (hopefully) as part of a Biennale Finale exhibition outdoors in June 2021.

Our Biennale artists from all over Kirklees are here to help support pupil well-being for just £200 per school. All projects will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Schools and artists can work together to arrange workshop dates.

PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
