100 Human Voices - Our Biennale Festival (FULLY BOOKED)
Pupils will explore singing, recitation and spoken word from different cultural traditions to create a medley that will form part of a live musical broadcast.
Four schools in Kirklees are invited to work alongside Manasamitra and artists Supriya Nagarajan and Duncan Chapman.
The theme of the project is happiness. Each school will participate in two sessions with the artists, and this project will work well in rural schools.
Music created at each school will be recorded to create a new sound piece which will be played at the live online broadcast.
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
Our Biennale artists from all over Kirklees are here to help support pupil well-being for just £200 per school. All projects will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Schools and artists can work together to arrange workshop dates.
